How to open a windows system If password forgotten

1)   Hai every one! In this tutorial I am gona show you how to open a windows system If password forgotten,using any linux like Ubuntu or back track 5 or you can use any other linux u wish.

2)   Here iam using back track -5 to show u how to do this but u can use any other linux you wish to.

3)   Just boot the iso file of the lnux into a usb drive using unetbootin or yumi.If u don’t have the iso file just download it from here-UBUNTU or BACKTRACK-5 This is how u can do it.

4)   Now insert the usb into the system u want to open.

5)   Now boot the system from the usb by selecting the first boot device as usb.

6)Our linux will load now  acess the system 32 directory by clicking on my computer>c dirive>windows>system32

7)Now in the system32 directory search for cmd.exe below all folders, now copy it to desktop or any other place in the linux system and rename it as “sethc.exe’’ without apostrophes’ and again copy it back to system 32 directory.

8)It will ask you the file name is already present do you want to replace, then click ok.

9)Now shutdown the linux, remove the usb and now open windows.

10)Now when the windows system ask’s you for password, just press the shift key 5 times or keep on pressing the shift key till u get a CMD window. If u do not get a CMD window u had done something wrong go back and check the steps if u did not get a CMD window.

11)Now in the CMD window  just type the command “net user” without apostrophes. then it will display the list of users to the system.

12)Now again type the command“ net user ( the req username) *” without apostrophes. Hit enter

13)Then it will ask u to type new password type the new password what u have typed will not appear. Hit enter it will ask u to conform password again type the password hit enter

14)Now in the password column of windows type the password which u have entered

15)Your windows will open up.

16)Now u have successfully opened your windows pc.

17)It might look hard but this I an easy method just by some practice.
